My Corfu Town Guide

£18.00

Corfu Town is where I spent most of my summers as a child. While my parents worked in tavernas for the summer season, my Yiayia took care of me in our flat in Corfu Town. I have so many memories of waking up listening to the lively philosophising of old men in the Kafeneion across from my bedroom and shopping at the central ‘laiki’ market with my Yiayia. Many of the places in this list were places my grandparents introduced me to as a child. Now the establishments have been taken over by younger generations of the same family.

Corfu boasts the most beautiful ‘Chora’ in all of Greece. Venetian and Napoleon in its architecture, it makes for a great backgrop to strolling, sipping on a cold coffee or enjoying a gelato in the sun.

There’s fantastic people watching to be enjoyed , great shopping and an entirely different vibe at night. Here’s where you should eat, explore and sleep in Corfu town.
