Pinch me moments - we join Drew Barrymore and Jessica Alba in a live cooking demonstration, Yiayia and Anastasia show Drew how to make the roasted vegetables on the cover of the Grand Dishes book, from Yiayia’s home in Corfu, Greece.
A film made in collaboration with Nowness. Set on the Greek island of Corfu, it follows Anastasia’s Yiayia - Anastasia - in all the daily tasks that lead to dinner. She cooks seabream on fire, with oregano fries, Greek salad and skordalia, a garlic and potato dip.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Grand Dishes collaborated with filmmaker Nathan Ceddia to present Babcia Ania, a mighty Polish grandmother who refuses to let life pass her by.
She walks, she swims, she cooks.
“Women handle themselves in everything, not like men,” she says.
